Press for immediate release

This publication wishes to urge Mr. Kanybil Noon to clearly and permanently refrain from associating General Gregory with the family of H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit. The two families are distinct and separate, related only in the same way many families are socially connected in society. Such relations do not imply political control, influence, or improper protection.

General Gregory is a national liberator like many others who sacrificed for this country. He should not be persistently targeted by a single individual who has chosen self-imposed exile and appears to rely on public propaganda as a means of livelihood. Continually linking General Gregory to the President’s family for the purpose of personal criticism is misleading, unfair, and unacceptable.

General Gregory believes in justice and the rule of law, which is why he has consistently chosen to pursue his grievances through the courts. He should not be pressured to remain silent or to surrender his lawful properties simply because of a perceived family connection to the President. Seeking justice is a constitutional right afforded to every citizen.

It must also be understood that General Gregory is a respected elder, a family man, and a leader with a strong community background. He is a father to many, a public figure well known for his service, and deserving of dignity. Attempting to tarnish his name through falsehoods and personal attacks is irresponsible and unbecoming.

If General Gregory were to misuse his authority, the public at large—not a single individual driven by personal motives—would have every right to criticize him. His continued trust by the state and repeated appointments to public duty demonstrate confidence in his integrity and performance. Throughout his assignments, he has consistently served with dedication and profession

This is therefore formally and unequivocally call upon Mr. Kanybil Noon to immediately cease and desist from publishing defamatory content, false associations, and abusive narratives against General Gregory through any media platforms. Failure to do so may compel the pursuit of appropriate legal remedies.
